Took 3 months to get to this level after starting. But before this business, I had 7 different businesses over the previous 7 years that came and went with various levels of success and failure, none achieved what this has for me. There were so many times when a business would end, fail, or I would choose to move on and I thought I wasted my time. Then when I started my current business I realized that I used all the skillsets and networks I had developed the past 7 years which resulted in this business “taking off” in “only 3 months.” Lol. As a software developer and techie, I think we are really at the point of looking away from online only for a profitable business. Something in the physical world but with a digital component may be better. Honestly, the ideas you are going to get anywhere you ask are going to be all the same. And then, because all the ideas are the same, "AI" (meaning Large Language Models) are just going to spit out the same ideas as well. That in mind, if you are dead set on staying online only, look for something successful, and just copy those ideas. No need to reinvent the wheel in which you will ultimately spend most of your time trying to just think of what to do that is original. Just copy, and go from there. The interesting part with that is, even if you copy an idea and it doesn't go anywhere, it could trigger a thought of something original. More on reddit.com

Here's what you do, leave the house and you'll be wasting your time. Put on a headset, and notice everything you see, people, houses, buildings, stores, everything. See if any of these things have any “problems” that you can make their lives easier, or solve the entire problem. This is how you start entrepreneurship. Find a problem and solve it. You can do it but I doubt it's easy or everyone would be doing it. There's giant companies who have economies of scale that will make your profit look like a rounding error. Why not spend some time on your own testing an idea at a time? There's no free lunch, it's not easy, and you already work 12 hours a day. Do you really want to be spending your remaining free time on this? What about the days you're at work, can you address your problems in real time or do you need to wait until the weekend? Because that will slow you down, especially when getting started. The ones who profit here are the shovel sellers in this "gold rush." Accountants, course sellers, "managers" who take a cut of your profits... The majority of Amazon stores earn under 20k annually. That's I think 5 million total stores, so think about that. You're going to have to be exceptional for this to make sense, and unless you can pull together a team you won't make it, probably. I recommend finding a partner or two who you can trust, divide and conquer. Much better than going solo because then you're the single point of failure. Good luck, you're going to need it.
