I shop at shopgoodwill.com (an auction site) and goodwillfinds.com (where items are at a fixed price with occasional special offers). You can find almost anything imaginable on these sites from across the USA. Be aware that you will pay a lot more than the "price" for each item. Shipping costs can be high, especially if you only purchase 1 item from that location. You need to read carefully to determine if shipping costs can be combined and what rules apply. (The shipping weight for each item may be much heavier than its actual weight. Sometimes, you can combine shipping on items up to a total of 20 lbs at the same location.) Sometimes, there is an additional handling fee for each item, which may increase its price by several dollars. Then, sales taxes are added on top of the other fees. Different Goodwill locations provide different information about clothing sizes. Most just list the brand name and the size on the label. At least one location provides measurements of the bust, sleeve length, hips, etc. Sometimes, you are charged an extra fee that gives you permission to return an item if it doesn't fit. I'm not sure if you have to pay for return shipping. Occasionally, I have been shipped the wrong garment; then, I was given a code to return it via FedEx. These places may be digging their own graves. Not everyone who shops these places are flippers, but most who shop there are driven by the idea of the surprise find. Most stuff I can find on ebay. But finding it in a thrift makes it exciting. By taking all the good stuff online, it just becomes online retail. On top of that, the retail stores generate more waste by filling the stores with lower quality goods, and eventually will need to reduce retail locations and staff. Short term gain, long term loss.
