If you don’t have your original ticket, is there website where you can enter your licence plate/VIN and it’ll show you all the tickets associated with it?
Basically I think i have parking tickets from different cities from wayy back that I know I haven’t paid for, problem is I can’t seem to locate those anywhere. And if hypothetically you don’t pay them, what’re the repercussions?

Depending on how old they are if you need to renew your license they'll be flagged. I believe you won't be able to renew until you pay up. If they are tickets from private lots I don't think they'll show up on their records. In that case there is always the risk you could be sent to a collection agency although that may not be cost effective for private operators. I think it might be safe to ignore these. If anyone has anything to add please correct me if I'm wrong. Good luck!

If they're government issued parking tickets (like street parking bylaw enforcement) they'll catch up with you eventually when you go to renew or transfer your car ownership or driver's license. I once forgot a parking ticket - it didn't catch up with me until two cars later when the dealer went to do all the paperwork for me to take ownership of the old car as a trade in. Oops! (In my defense, even though it was the only parking ticket I've received, it was a month before both my wedding and us moving into a house together... kinda chaotic)

r/ontario on Reddit: Find lost speeding ticket
December 27, 2023 -
Hi All,
I was just wondering if I can search a speeding ticket online without the ticket information and just using a driver license. I think I have a speeding ticket from 2020 that I didn't pay and I have lost the ticket. Was just wondering if there is a easier way to find it without going to a courthouse or calling them.

Afaik - that's the only way : If you’ve received a “summons” (an order to appear in front of a justice of the peace) you will need the case number on the summons. If you don’t have this information, or you’ve lost your ticket, contact the municipal court office in the jurisdiction where your ticket or fine was issued.
