I know it's a popular extention. You can drag and select all the links in one page and when you release the mouse button it opens as tabs.
You can also choose the option to simply copy the links you selected in the page. It selects in different colors.

ohhh i think i know what you’re talking about — sounds like Linkclump maybe? but if you’re looking for something more powerful (like opening hundreds of URLs without crashing your browser), i recently switched to Bulk URL Opener & Tab Manager: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bulk-url-opener-tab-manag/nipkhjpemhflobkeegjpflbfmplpndje and it’s been a lifesaver. you can paste in a ton of links, open them all at once (or in batches), even auto-close tabs after a while. super clean UI too, no fluff. not exactly drag-to-select, but if you're managing big link lists, it’s 🔥
