Wasn’t really shopping seriously for a laptop but sometimes I just like to look at the open box stuff at Best Buy. This one was behind glass but caught my eye because on the packaging it said that it was discounted $1099.
Only thing wrong with the laptop seems to be some sticker residue on the outside that I believe will come off with rubbing alcohol. It only has 23 charging cycles.
Am I tripping or is this a seriously crazy good deal? Could I sell this laptop online for significantly more money than I spent? If I’m not going to have a heavy workload for it, then should I?

Oh yeah Best Buy has some crazy deals, I got an open box 13 inch m1 iPad Pro for 650 which can still be traded in for 510, was considering trade in for iPad Pro m4 but realized I don’t actually gain much benefit from it

Best buy has the m2 pro for cheaper right now open box than the refurbished from apple. should i trust the open box? I'm assuming the laptop is brand new and hardly used, or possibly not used at all. I would prefer spending $2,109 for open box versus $2,179 for refurbished!

Openbox could of been used for a month or could've just been a regreted buy and instantly returned. Wont know until you get it. I'd rather spend the few extra dollars for the FULL year warranty. Which you would not get with an openbox mac.
