When you are using a personal @gmail.com account, you can only view edits. See File > Version history.

I'm trying to see my viewers' viewing history.
I've learnt that there exists an 'activity dashboard'
This site shows where it's supposed to be. As of September 5th. https://www.alphr.com/see-who-viewed-google-doc/
However, when I click tools, I only see these. https://i.imgur.com/U5iLwJ3.png
Did they moved it somewhere else?

Are you in a Workspace account? If you are in a personal account then this will NOT show up. It is a Workspace feature only. My Workspace account does have the activity dashboard in the same location (Tools menu > Activity Dashboard) and the menu does match your screenshot other than that. So they didn't move it in the menu reorganization.

I can't see it because this is a Workspace only feature but according to the Google Help page it's under the Tools menu: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/7378739?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop

I see the activity dashboard under tools now- but would love to be able to pin it back to the top! I use it A LOT!!!! Anyone find a way?
