Open your phone settings and search for Notification History. You can enable it there. It's also possible to have a little arrow icon on your lock screen which you can swipe up to view the notification history without unlocking the phone. I can't remember if that gets enabled automatically when you turn on the main Notification History option, or if it was something that had to be customized separately through the lock screen config, or maybe the Lockstar Module from the Good Lock app.... I get a lot of notification sounds on my phone, but when I look at it, sometimes I cannot see what it was that caused the notification sound.....it doesnt always appear in the list that pulls down from the top. This wouldnt necessarily be a Samsung specific thing, but maybe an Android thing.
