So, since yesterday the new OpenJDK came into the repositories. This means that I have to use the new Netbeans (12.1) for school, but for some reason it keeps crashing. This means that it either a bug in the new Netbeans or the new JDK. At the current moment I don't have time to troubleshoot or to wait for bug fixes.

So, my problem is that I can't install a other JDK, except the LTS versions. (I have noticed that Netbeans 12 is rather buggy with the 11 or 8, which got solved by using 14.) Netbeans 12 also does not want to run with JDK 15. Is there any way to reïnstall JDK 14 again?

You can get targz one from https://adoptopenjdk.net/ and setup it somewhere, if you want it as a toolchain. Setting it up as main system java would be somewhat messy, i guess. Apparently there are rpm packages on this site, but i was unable to find them for 14, and i have no idea how that package is gonna play with fedora anyway Alternatively, you can install LTS (11) from repos and run IDE with it, while using 15 for compilation (i assume netbeans supports multiple configured toolchains?)
