Does opensuse find the closest repo mirror automatically? Or I should change my mirror manually?
How do I set up a LAN mirror of all the repositories I use across multiple devices?
Hi. I'm on South America and I want to know if I should change mirrors to have a better download time, or opensuse already automaticaly choose the best mirrors by defaut?
I want to avoid downloading the same packages multiple times over the internet when they are exactly the same for each device I have opensuse installed on. My connection is metered and I believe a LAN transfer will be a LOT faster than an internet one.
The guide on the opensuse wiki deals with setting up a public mirror, and I get the impression that the configuration mirrors more than the scope I am interested in.
For example if I am not using Leap then I do not wish to mirror the leap repos, but only the tumbleweed ones. If I am using a specific home repo then I want to mirror only that specific repo's data for tumbleweed, not all the home repositories or even that home repor's non-tumbleweed bits.
