Or is it a typical "Manscaped Syndrome" - decent to mid product just with really good advertising?
Tried Opera GX - it's the biggest gimmick I've ever used. Do you guys feel the same?
Is opera gx really that not good?
Is opera actually good?
Is there actually a difference between opera and opera gx besides visuals?

So I've just tried Opera GX, that one browser that my friends said "the best browser they've ever used". I've tried to messing around with some "exclusive gamer features" that "other browsers don't have, like RAM limiter, chat integration, music player integration, GX corner, video enhancer, etc. I've even tried to login my active backup account to use those features. But after a day of using it, I don't feel that most of those features "useful" in real life scenario.
- Chat and music player integration is okayish. Though I still prefer to open it in a full screen + I don't like having some kind of sidebar (which tbh has a good implementation but again I don't use it much) in my browser apart from vertical tabs, which I also don't use much. Literally just a better implementation of "open two browser windows side-by-side".
- RAM Limiter? I thought your PC and your browser is the one that supposed to do that automatically?
- Video enhancer? I can use an extention for that. Also in my use case I almost never used that feature.
- That gaming theme looks annoying, at least for me. You guys might have a different opinion on this.
- Performance wise, it's nothing faster than Chrome. Not a bit.
- Those sound when you just turned on the browser or when you click something is annoying. I know you can turn it off, but it shouldn't be there in the first place.
- Website modding makes some websites performs weirdly for some reason. Turning it off fixes this.
- Mobile version is just worse. Even worse than normal Opera Mobile and Chrome Mobile + no access to opera://flags.
TL;DR Opera GX is a gimmick imo, it's nothing better than Chrome, Edge, or any Chromium-based browser if you use browser like a normal person. Do you guys feel the same, or is it just me that use it wrong?
