I am in need of a sander and like the look of the finish sander better, how comparable is their function. Is the orbital sander more powerful? Or is it purely dictated by the sand paper I install in it? If its going to operate almost identically to the orbital I feel like I should just grab the finish sander

I am looking to pick up a random orbit sander and I am interested in people’s recommendations.
Use case for this is going to be in a workshop with the sander connected to dust extraction. Therefore both corded and cordless models will be suitable and depending on the run time of the cordless, I can see a corded sander being preferred.
So which random orbit sander would you get and why?
I'm in need of a orbital sander to sand down a painted tabel. It's probably one of those tools I wont be using much but is a must have in the kit. There's quite a few models out there, so what to go for? Are the cheapest models too weak for everyday use or am I good to go with whatever?
