I am looking to pick up a random orbit sander and I am interested in people’s recommendations.
Use case for this is going to be in a workshop with the sander connected to dust extraction. Therefore both corded and cordless models will be suitable and depending on the run time of the cordless, I can see a corded sander being preferred.

My wife loves the DBO180 so much that she won't let me use it when there's sanding to be done on our projects. I bought an adapter to connect it to the vacuum (regular vacuum cleaner, as I've not gotten around to buying a shop vac), and it's basically dust free operation now.

Any model would frankly be good. But stay away from the DBO180 if you need to do any significant amount of vertical sanding.

I'm in need of a orbital sander to sand down a painted tabel. It's probably one of those tools I wont be using much but is a must have in the kit. There's quite a few models out there, so what to go for? Are the cheapest models too weak for everyday use or am I good to go with whatever?
What's your recommendations?

I got the BO5041 (US) and it's really nice. It has very low vibration, the variable speed goes very low, the dust collection is pretty good without a vac, and the dual grip feels very ergonomic. I have seen someone saying the vacuum adapter diameter is weird but I 3d print so it's a non-issue. I also heard people say the Velcro base is not the best, though that can be replaced and I haven't had an issue so far.
