I knew USPS, for instance, offers free Priority Mail shipping boxes provided that you only use the boxes to ship USPS Priority Mail. I am just learning, however, that FedEx and UPS do as well.
What is the catch tho? Is it the same as for USPS where you only use the boxes to ship on their services? What are your experiences with these free shipping supplies?
Do we advertise that we provide free boxes when a customer brings their product they need to ship with the pre paid shipping label? At my store we don’t even have FedEx ground boxes. I have this same customer who comes in once in a while and they get pissy at me each time I tell her we do not provide boxes for free. There is literally a FedEx store across the highway from my store, but people want to come to Office Depot expecting we’re a FedEx location. I’m 👏🏻 over 👏🏻 it 👏🏻
FedEx automated phone customer service said I’m unable to order supplies due to my account (same issue on their website). I have a personal account and owe nothing. I probably use FedEx once a year for shipping. Is that why they won’t let me order supplies? I was trying order 50 Small Pouches. I didn’t have any issues ordering these in the past. Thanks in advance for any insight you may have.
