Hey everyone, I need help choosing a case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I’m torn between the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T MagFit with camera control button coverage and the Otterbox Defender with a cutout. Which one would you choose?

I went ahead and got the otterbox defender. I’ve always got the defender for my iPhones and none have ever been damaged.

If you buy a Otterbox Defender you would literally be carrying a weapon lmao, what type of work do you do? If you do anything along the lines of construction then I would understand why you would use that case. Or if you let your kid use your phone then I would get it. But if you’re doing anything else then I would recommend literally any case that isn’t a $5 plastic case from Amazon. I personally got a case from Casekoo just because the Peak Design case I wanted was already on back order.

No idea why they decided to not house the camera control button. They left the glass edge completely exposed on the top and I have went through a dozen screen protectors since release. Almost anything that touches that edge fractures the screen protectors. Tons of other companies fully wrapped the camera control button, so no idea why they went this route. I was in AT&T getting warranty replacement and someone else was in there with the same phone, same case and same problem.

My wife is looking at the same case. Did you find a solution or a different case? We've always gotten Otterbox cases but we have that concern about the exposed area.

Delivered today. Got a question for the ones who have a screen protector with the Dynamic Island. Does your screen protector have a cutout for the selfie camera and Dynamic Island? My 13 PM has it for the notch.

My only complaint here is how much display quality you lose using the privacy protector. It dumbs down the quality so much more than you’d think it does. Just got the best quality and largest iPhone screen ever made and taking that quality away instantly. The cases are sweet though my dude.

A cutout for. Dynamic island doesn't make sense since it's always changing size. You usually don't need a cutoff protector infact I hate them because it gathers dust around cutouts. I had a full screen protector in my 13 pro m and it covered the notch and the cameras and a good quality protector won't change the camera quality or face id. It also looks a lot better
