For $60, this color ain't it. I mean, look at the photo in the original listing: https://www.otterbox.com/en-us/iphone-12-mini/symmetry-series--with-magsafe/77-80485.html#q=12%2Bmini%2Bnavy&lang=default&start=1
I wanted to invest my money in a serious-looking and highly protective phone case, and I really like deep blue colors. Its got this goofy blueberry look same as the blue iphone which is why I went with black for the phone itself.
As for the build I mean it's just like all the other symmetry cases but with the internal addition of magsafe, and there are already even video reviews of the symmetry+ on youtube. It feels like gameboy plastic with some sharp edges and some plasticky rubber additions. I mainly really wanted to post pictures of this Navy Captain Blue color, because if someone had done this exact thing before me when I was searching for it I would have avoided this misstep.
Considering returning it and getting the baltic blue apple leather case, but that would hurt, because it's probably way less protective which was one of my main priorities... Maybe I'll grow attached to this case but idkk

I've been using this Otterbox Symmetry case for a little over a week now. I've noticed that around the power and volume button areas the case seems to protrude out slightly.
I ordered this directly from the Otterbox website and it said it fits both the iPhone 12 and 13 mini.
Does anyone have this case as well and can comment on this? Overall I like the case but wonder if it should be fitting like this.
There's also an odd fit for the camera. The top, left and right sides are all very flush. The bottom leave slightly more of a gap though.
It's strange to me that all of the cases for the iPhone 13 mini are also advertised as fitting the 12 mini. I understand they are probably nearly identical but I've never witnessed this type of thing before.
I got myself a symmetry otterbox case for my 12 mini, and I had to push the phone hard to insert it into the case. Is there a chance that this may bend the phone?
My last ios device was the iphone 6, and bendgate was a real problem back then. Should I be worried?
