I'm thinking the barndoors. TBH, I do not like them at all. I think it's lazy and ugly. And I think "hidden" doors will take over. Where it doesn't even look like a door is there, but the wall designs will be on actual doors to hide it. Like they do with refrigerators. I've already seen that in a few shows already.

I’d say wooden planks on walls. It amazes me how someone will say the 1970s wood paneling is dated and needs to go, but puts up shiplap or wooden planks on the walls. It’s...it’s the same thing but turned sideways. I love the look of natural wood but sometimes it can be overkill. I do wish the trend of painting brick would go away. I love a good natural brick and it’s impossible to remove paint from it.
