Just bought an outdoor wood bench. It says it’s treated and that it’s for outdoor use but also recommends a cover. The ikea cover it recommends is like 75% the cost I paid for the bench itself. So, is it necessary? I’m sure it’ll last longer with a cover but should I be fine without it?
I bought of Amazon , rectangle shape Size: 146"D x 74"W x 37"H - there werent much option for this large size. Thought it was good it looked nice and fit perfect. But the first rain (weight on it caused it to tear like cheap paper). I'm thinking they just resale the temu special. During winter, another tear from snow. In hindsight I would say i've seen better tarps than this.
So where can I get a quality waterproof cover of higher quality that won't just "tear"
Edit: I bought the Ultima cover from coverstore.com based on recommendation in comment and it seems HIGH quality, much better than the amazon one but will see how it holds up after a year and longer. I'm also planning to purchase additional for my patio heaters, a chair, and a fire table because the quality looks so good
