I feel like I might be crazy for even considering this, but I'm thinking about building my outdoor kitchen to include Ikea Sektion cabinetry.
Hear me out...
-
The kitchen space exists entirely below a deck which is currently only accessible via the upstairs, or a soon-to-be-installed staircase. So there's no sun exposure whatsoever.

The deck above has gutters, and the staircase side of the kitchen has a retaining wall with sufficient drainage to take on any kind of rain we might get. So no water exposure...

This won't be a permanent storage solution for food or waste, so pest control concerns are at a minimum.
My biggest concern is atmospheric humidity and temperature. We do get full winters here, mostly -15C (5F) dropping to -30C (-22F) at its coldest. And summers that can reach nearly 40C (around 100F). There's virtually no info online on how well Ikea stuff holds up outside, even just while stored as flat-packs.
Here's some pics of the space for reference.
