I would get both a queen and a king and see what you like better...I think a queen would work but only if you turn it 90 degrees and don't have the top (side) all the way to the top of the mattress. More on reddit.com

tried a few few down/down alternative comforters and they are all very light, might need to get a blanket. willing to pay a decent amount ($100-$200) to get a decent nights sleep.... have tried weighted blankets - don't want it to be that heavy and also need it to cover a king/cal king bed. TIA!

Casalunas heavyweight comforter sounds like it could be perfect. It is for me! And you can return it if you don’t love it. They also have a linen blend quilt that’s heavy but much lighter than the comforter so I prefer it in summer. comforter quilt
