August 19, 2023Anyone have experience with Owayo jerseys?
One of my teams uses them. The other team has some model of Reebok sweaters. I'm not well-versed enough to recognize whether it's an Edge or a Premier or something else entirely. I think we have matching Edge socks so that makes me think the sweater might also be an Edge. Personally, I prefer the Owayo even though it has less flashy features. The Reebok has sewn on trim pieces and a nicer neck lace. One of a few things that the Owayo definitely has over the Reebok, though, is the name and number. On the Reebok they're just laminated onto the sweater and they feel like they could come off in a few years. On the Owayo they appear to be printed or dyed into the fabric itself. I think I saw something on the Owayo website about that not costing extra. The Owayo feels softer, but just as tough as the Reebok. They're roughly the same weight, based on holding one in each hand at the same time. The Owayo has vented underarms and a layer of mesh under the outer layer from the elbow down on each arm. The Reebok has neither of those things. I'm 6'1, 240 and the Owayo fits my body type better. I'm not fat, but I'm not skinny either. The Reebok is a little tighter around the middle (they're both 2x). If I had to choose again, I'd go with the Owayo for both. Do you have any other questions? Edit: Just remembered I should mention that I'm basing my perceived value on the fact that we bought in bulk so I paid roughly the same amount for each sweater, about $75 USD. More on reddit.com

Does anyone have recent experience with any of these three? Are the sleeves on the Men’s League Sweaters still all weird & tight? How’s the quality generally on any of these? Looking to get a new set of jerseys for this year and these seem to be some of the go-tos for sublimated. Had an awful experience with Hockey Tron a while back, so I’m cautious. Thanks!

I'm looking to get a jersey made for just myself, so I'm okay with everything being just sublaminated. My question is - What is your experience with them? Are the jerseys durable? Would you recommend them?

Seems really expensive for a sublimated jersey. Seems like the quality is pretty high though.
