This is in no way perfect. But here is a practice sheet with a potential solution. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1i2RQWq6QGdIWqXDF1fEoJiqS7VsaL_MFflKtuQb425E/edit?usp=sharing This does not work every time, but may be a start. Column A is where you can enter your english word, have not set up rules for multiple words, so just enter single words. Column B creates a link to the website: https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/ you shared, where that definition may live. Column C uses an IMPORTHTML function to import the definition. I also included a LEFT function to pull in data left of the "Extra Examples" otherwise the extracted definitions were very large. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. EDIT: I changed the formula to take out all examples from the definition. Now you can quickly see the definition and if you need additional examples you can click the link to learn more. I also expanded the formulas to account for two word examples (e.g. "camel hair" is two words with a definition on the site you shared). Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. Following each definition are several brief illustrating quotations presented in chronological order from the earliest ascertainable use of the word in that sense to the last ascertainable use for an obsolete sense, to indicate both its life span and the time since its desuetude, or to a relatively recent use for current ones.
