To start, you should have access to your paystub, whether it be in a paper fashion or through an online portal. Talk to your management teams at your employer to see how to get access to your paystub to see where your money is going. That said, even as a minor, you're required to pay in 7.65% combined for Social Security and Medicare. That's about $46 taken from the $600. If you live in a state or locality that has an income tax, there may be withholding applied that we don't know about. Without being able to see the paystub, or knowing information such as pay frequency and location you live in, any advice you get is going to be blind and possibly not helpful. Additionally, we don't know if you have any other deductions that are taken out, albeit unlikely. More on reddit.com
