Palo new certs released
Palo Alto Networks has recently updated its certification framework, introducing new role-based certifications while designating previous certifications like PCNSA and PCNSE as "legacy." Palo Alto Networks Live Although these legacy certifications remain valid, it's advisable to align with the new framework to stay current with industry standards. The Network Security Generalist certification is part of this new structure, validating comprehensive knowledge of Palo Alto Networks' security solutions. Palo Alto Networks Currently, study materials are primarily available through Palo Alto Networks' Beacon platform. Beacons As third-party providers like INE develop content for these new certifications, more resources will become accessible. In summary, while your PCNSA certification remains valid, pursuing the Network Security Generalist certification is a proactive step to align with Palo Alto Networks' updated certification path. r/paloaltonetworks on Reddit: Palo Alto certifications
May 11, 2024 -

Hi all,

Thinking about getting a Palo Alto cert, I have not worked with any Palo Alto devices, I have some experience with Fortinet firewalls, that is probably a good thing. I work in networking for 6 years now.

Could anyone tell me a few words about PCNSA, PCNSE certifications? Are these exams hard, do you think that I should get one of these, if not, do you have some suggestions which one to get first?
