Down Duvet | Parachute – Parachute Home
Made with European white down, our inserts have a fill power of 750 – giving it superior fluff and just the right amount of warmth. Soft sateen is sewn around the down in a baffle box construction, keeping the feathers evenly distributed.

Duvet insert: Can’t decide between Parachute vs Buffy vs Quince vs Brooklinen vs Casper vs any others
Brooklinen is not BIFL. I bought sheets and they were kind of thin and had holes in under a year. I would never buy anything from them again. More on reddit.com

do you recommend parachute bedding?
I had two linen fitted sheets tear at the feet within a year of purchase. Sucked because they were soooooo comfy, but they just did not hold up to normal use. More on reddit.com
Parachute Linen Duvet
Check out your local Costco if you have one, I think Sam's Club is the southern equivalent. I got a lovely down comforter that I put in a duvet cover for under $100. It's real, quality down too. More on reddit.com
Is An Expensive Down Comforter Worth It?
An expensive down comforter is worth the money if you’re looking to invest in your rest and it’s able to address a sleep concern of yours. A comforter made from down can be particularly beneficial for people in cold regions who need to stay bundled up during the fall and winter, but lightweight down comforters are ideal for hot sleepers who still want a soft and fluffy comforter to finish their mattress.

What Is Better, Goose Down Or Goose Feather?
Goose down is known as a more luxurious material, because it’s more lightweight, better at heat insulation and feels much softer. Feathers are still soft and warm, but they aren’t as dense or voluminous as down clusters, which result in a heavier or bulkier feel.

What Is The Highest Quality Down Material?
According to Ijaz, “High-quality down is determined by the size of the clusters, durability and fill power.” She says European White Goose Down is among the most luxurious, as it “contains large clusters of down feathers and typically a higher fill power which results in a fluffy, warm, long-lasting duvet or comforter.”

I am losing my mind trying to decide where to buy a new duvet insert. I feel like a lot of the new bedding companies all end up on review lists that are “pay to play.” I am looking for something cooling but also as fluffy as it can be (while still being cooling). I bought the Brooklinen Down All-Season, but at 90” wide, it’s SUPER short for our normal (not California) king, as in, it only falls an inch and a half off the sides of the bed. It’s decently fluffy, but I’m wondering if there’s something better.
Max price is around $400. Any recs are much appreciated!

Would strongly recommend LL Bean. They’re a bit of a sleeper in home goods, but their quality, warranty and legacy get high marks for good reason. My mom has one of their duvets and it’s lasted 15+ years in an active (with pets!) household. I’m not an expert but I used to be a bedding buyer for a major retailer. And I’m picky af when it comes to my own bedding.

1 month ago - Kitchens chose Parachute’s in the all-season midweight because she was looking for something “super lofty,” and it’s still as fluffy as when she first got it. “And it truly works year-round,” she adds, “keeping me warm in the winter and perfectly comfortable in the warmer months.” With a fill power of 750, it’s made with 85 percent down clusters and 15 percent fibers in a baffle-box construction that keeps the fill evenly distributed and contributes to its extra-lofty feel.

1 month ago - With that in mind, we found the Brooklinen Down Comforter to be an all-around favorite for its texture, weight, warmth, and easy care instructions. It also comes in three weights and all bed sizes to suit any sleeper’s personal preferences. But there are lots of fabulous comforters out there, so we’re sharing our full lineup in case something else better fits the bill.
