Hey all,
Wondering if anyone has opinions or previous experience to share about parliament furniture? Saw a blog online recommending it. I’m getting sick of IKEA and just want something different but relatively affordable.

We got a couch from there. It's structurally fine, as far as I know, but the fabrics covering it are cheap crap. We got a fabric for the main cushion coverings that stains insanely easily and is wearing quickly. I am pretty sure this fabric was not intended to be used for upholstery, otherwise it would not be totally falling apart after 5 years of not particularly hard wear and tear. Also the 'accent' fabric (on the arms and lower 'skirt' panel along the bottom edge, not sure what that's called) is a faux leather that has flaking apart horribly after only 5 years. Price and delivery were inexpensive, but the saying 'you get what you pay for' was coined for this freaking couch. Honestly, I've gotten IKEA stuff that was far better quality and much longer-lasting -- which is not saying a lot. (Only reason why we still have this thing is b/c we are planning to move soon and we'll get rid of it then.)
