Hello,
I'm on a search for a good winter jacket that will handle European winter. I need something that will keep me warm in temperatures ranging from -5( 23°F ) to 5 degrees Celsius, with extremes being around -10 ( 14°F )(although rather rare). As it is a casual/everyday jacket, I'd be wearing it with sweaters or sweatshirts underneath, and it will probably be used mostly in static/low activity scenarios, like walking around the town, waiting for bus and such. I tend to run a bit cold, but I'm rather comfortable in Arc'teryx Atom LT in around 5 deg Celsius with something light underneath when static.
I'm considering buying the Down Sweater Hoody because of how light and comfortable it is. The high density down should keep me warm in those situations (I am aware that rain might be an issue). I also like the warm hood of that jacket.
Have a good day!
I have a Down Sweater with a hood, purchased a Nano Puff last month without a hood.
Have seen a hooded version of the Nano Puff on sale & wondering whether it’s worth getting or am I just wasting money by essentially doubling up?
