Plants for patio border
Looking for some suggestions to plant in a patio border
Ideas for plants to create a border from backyard to sunny wooded area? Zone 6a
I have concrete backyard and need ideas on what to do with the edging. What would look good here? I would like something low maintenance. Alot of leaves fall into the rocks and its hard to clean

Hi, I was wondering would anyone have any advice for me.
I have recently put in a patio on my grass however due to a sloping garden one side of my patio is raised and the cement holding it in place can be seen.
Would anyone have any good ideas or suggestions for a low, narrow and tidy plant or hedge that would be good to border the entire patio and hide the messiness?
I was looking at dwarf box plants but I am unsure if they might be too wide or high and obscure the patio a little
Border is about 25cms deep by 3 meters long, on the west side of the patio.
I've got some clematis in there, plus a climbing rose. It's also full of gladiolus (which I've learnt to hate since they always fall over and look a bit ugly when not in flower). There are also some other perenials which I forget the name of, and will be going).
I've already got herbs, daffodils, tulips elsewhere in the garden, so really looking for a bit more interest in a sunny spot (including 1 or 2 evergreen plants to make it less desperate in winter).
Anyone got any suggestions? Maybe something meditterean so it doesn't need tons of water in a hot summer?
