Hello! I'm wondering if others have experience with using Chase Bill Pay to pay bills that would otherwise require giving the payee a routing and account number? I'm trying to avoid spreading a new account number too many places, but I'm wondering if I'm opening myself up to potential other problems that would offset that advantage?

Note: I know some payees will show up as electronic transfer and others would receive a paper check. I'm really talking about the electronic transfer payments here.

Couldn't find an answer in previous posts and can't find definitive answers to these questions on the chase website.

Looking to open a checking account with chase and use Bill Pay to pay all of my bills, and automatically if possible.

Does their Bill Pay allow me to setup autopay on utilities (Bill varies in amount month to month)? Further, does it allow me to autopay the same day or the next day the Bill is issued?

Additionally, will Bill Pay send a paper check via mail to billers that don't accept electronic without tacking on convenience fees?

Asking for opinions here; what's your level of satisfaction with Chase Bill pay?

I am considering moving my personal account to Chase, before doing so, I want to be sure their bill pay service provides this functionality:

I setup my electric bill, my Citicard bill and my gas bill in Bill Pay, the bank receives the bill and automatically pays the bill based on rules I define.

Does the Chase Bill Pay system provide this eBills function?
