Question about speeding ticket in Wisconsin from Illinois driver
Look at the court address on the ticket. If it’s a circuit court, it will show up on CCAP. If it’s a municipal court, it won’t, and you’ll have to contact the court directly (usually online is easiest) to handle. Edit: but to answer your question, it will take a little bit. The cop has to “turn in” the citation, then a clerk has to enter it, and then it goes on a docket. More on reddit.com

Showing up to court for speeding ticket not enough anymore?
You can take traffic school to lower points, but that happens after you plea / are found guilty. As for the prosecutor not lowering the ticket, every prosecutor is different. Back when I did traffic I'd offer bargains just to get traffic cases to go away since I didn't want to deal with them, other people will prosecute everything as tough as they can go. It just depends. Speeding ticket - want opinions
Show up for court and plead no contest? I’ve done it and got the tickets lowered, dropped, or just paid the fine and no points. The points is what I worry about. It depends if you have other tickets, and your insurance may go up. More on reddit.com
