New/First-time LLC owner here! Confused about PayPal payments, bank accounts ... please help!?
Should I use PayPal for my small business?
I'm thinking of opening a paypal business account but I have some questions first.
Business account as a private person
Can I issue invoices with my PayPal Business account?
What’s the difference between a PayPal Personal and Business account?
How does PayPal keep my business info private?

Hi everyone! I just started my first small business LLC (single member - just me!) a few days ago and I'm confused about a couple of things. I'm hoping Reddit can help :)
- I occasionally get paid via PayPal. I was previously a sole proprietor. Do I need to create a new PayPal account using my new business email address and only do PayPal transactions marked "business" (instead of "friends and family") moving forward? Or can I use my existing PayPal account and just transfer relevant payments out to my business checking?
- My LLC filing got approved but I'm still waiting to hear back from the bank about my new business checking account. I've had to pay for things in the meantime with a personal credit card. Do I pay these charges off now with a personal checking account? Or should I wait until my business checking gets approved and pay for the charges then?
- If I need to put more money into my LLC (into the business checking), do I need to keep revising the Operating Agreement and Capital Contributions every time I do?
- Does anyone here have recommendations for a good (affordable) small business CPA? I'm not making much money yet but every article/book I read really emphasizes how important getting a CPA is.
Thank you so much for your help in advance!!!
I've been reading several horror stories about PayPal and I'm worried something might go wrong down the line. I've been using my business account to sell collectibles and commissions via social media through PayPal invoicing and only had 1-2 holds since I've started 3 years ago.
I run a small volume art shop and do commission work.
