Hi LisaDaniel2,
I am Mark. I'm and Windows 10 adviser and a Windows user like you. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
To remove a user's password at the command prompt, log on as an administrator and type:
1- type net user and press enter, find your username
2- type net user (your username) * and press enter
3- When you are prompted to type a password for the user, press enter.
4- The system prompts you to retype the password to confirm, press enter.
The password is now removed.

Let me know if it works :)
I don’t know if I put the right flair (sorry) but I’m on a windows 11 or 10 (I’m not good at tech) and my computer is stuck on pin login, it just keeps loading and loading.. has been for 15-20 minutes. I just need to get in to factory reset my computer because a few days ago I realized I had virus. How do I fix this?
Hello! My name is Mostafa; I will assist you today.
I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue.
Start your PC in safe mode in Windows and try to log in: Press and hold the Shift key and restart Computer, then Troubleshoot > Advanced option > Startup Settings > Restart.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sta...
Restart the user profile service:
- Open your PC in safe mode by using the steps in Method 1 above.
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter to open Windows Services.
- On the Windows Services page, navigate to User Profile Service and right-click.
- On the resulting drop-down menu, click on "Restart".
- Also, on the drop-down menu, tap on "Properties" and make sure the Startup type is set to Automatic.
Run Startup Repair.
- Boot Into Windows Recovery Environment.
- Next, under Choose an option, click on Troubleshoot.
- Next, click on Advanced options.
- Click on Startup Repair. Now it will start to diagnose your PC to find issues with the start-up.
- Next, select a user account and enter the password.
- Click Continue to begin Startup repair. This process may take some time, so wait till it is complete.
Perform a restore point.
- Boot Into Windows Recovery Environment.
- Next, under Choose an option, click on Troubleshoot.
- Next, click on Advanced options.
- Click on System Restore
Please let me know the result. Thank you.
So I was able to get it into safe mode but the only option I was given was the “Turn Off your PC” and nothing else came up.
Hey guys I’ve been having an issue with getting into my pc for the past couple of days. I don’t have a password set up on it but recently when I turn my pc on it says “incorrect password, try again” when I click try again it says sign it but gives me no text box for a password. I don’t have a password assigned to my pc regardless so I’m really stumped right now on how to bypass this. I’ve tried methods like Shift restart and using those prompts but nothing works. If anyone knows about this and could help I’d really appreciate it!
