Running a new B550 Tomohawk mobo / AMD 5600X / 3070 system. Currently I have CoreTemp for checking CPU temps, and Task Manager > Performance to check the GPU temp. I suggest downloading the free trial to see if you like it. While Aida64 is great as a monitor, its stress tests are not that great.

August 12, 2024 - I have AMD gpu so it's built into their software these days. But otherwise for just raw data/logging you can't go wrong with hwinfo ... I've stumbled across open hardware monitor and it allows a really simple widget to be setup pretty easily. It looks like the data that sits there is very customizable, but I think this will do. I've got a CPU temp display on the block and there's a display and flow meter right past the GPU but they're both hard to read when sitting at the desk (it's a massive desk and the computer is on the far corner), so I think this will do.

I don't think you will be able to monitor much. I remember when the 8300 came out there were a lot of posts on the forum about CPU monitoring and ALL the posts back then noted Dell did not enable CPU temperature monitoring on most of the consumer line, including the 8300, (except some XPS models). If you want to monitor the CPU temperature you will have to use an external monitoring display unit and a probe and back then most were recommending a Thermatake unit. I have a later Dimension E510 model and it too does not have CPU temperature monitoring capability.
