PWM offers a GREAT tour of the woolen mills, and our guide was quite good! We had to wear ear phones in order to hear her as the machines made a LOT of noise at times. We were able to see the machines taking the raw wool and making it into thinner strands, the MANY colors of wool on spindles, and the "weaving" of blankets and other fabrics. It was fascinating! I think the quality of the items they make is pretty high. We were told that the blankets are made here in Pendleton, and that the many other items like shirts, purses/bags, and book covers, etc., are made at the Washougal, Washington, factory.

September 6, 2025 - They have a huge variety of blankets (robes), and all types of clothing. We were greeted immediately upon entering and directed to the sale racks and boy did we find sales! High quality items at affordable prices. Professional, yet fun and friendly staff members made our shopping experience here at Pendleton top notch!

October 10, 2025 - To celebrate their 10th anniversary, they partnered with their Pacific Northwest neighbor, Pendleton, which happens to be the oldest and most famous woolen mill in the United States.
