Does anyone know if there is a way to see what name a vehicle is under (registration?) Every place directs me to the Penndot website and they only offer an option for renewal of registration. I just want to view it to ensure the name transfer was completed... I guess I'm also asking if someone knows how to navigate the PENNDOT website so I can find this info

So my wife lost her registration card and I went to the PennDOT website to print out a duplicate, I enter in the Title number and license plate number and no results are found (double and triple checked the information it is correct). The dealership currently has the car and tried entering it in themselves based on an expired registration that was in the car and encountered the same problem. Any ideas on what I should do?

so back in september i bought a Trans am from my dad. he had it registered and insured through USAA. so i take the title, and insurance (hagerty), and get my plate. I get a letter in the mail a while later saying "my" insurance policy ,USAA, contacted them about canceling insurance, the insurance being my dads insurance, not mine. this was incorrect because i never had insurance on that policy and penndot has proof of my insurance through hagerty. they wanted proof of insurance and to send a copy over email. so i send them a copy of my insurance policy that they already have. now i get a letter today that my registration is being cancelled for either failure to provide documents, or they didnt accept them. I either cant drive my car for 3 months and have to pay again to register it, or pay 500$ and pay again to register it. im going to penndot tommorrow to try and sort it out, but i fully expect to get the "well my system says X" the robots working these computers always say when anything require critical thinking comes up in front of them. I also called them like 5 times between 4:15 and 4:45 and got the "all lines are busy, please call back later *click". is there no such thing as a queue there.

So long story short, I had to mail my license plate back to Florida in order for them to lift the suspension they placed on my driver’s license for switching over my car insurance without registering my car here. I got it sorted out, but there’s no plates currently on my car. I am going to the dmv tomorrow for my PA license, but I don’t know how the process works to register the car. I know PA requires a VIN check and safety and emissions test, but I can’t drive the car with no tag. I have the title, I wanted to know can they give me a temporary tag at the dmv so then I have time to do the vin and safety test, or is that required before they can give me a tag?
