If you are looking for WC parts this is the time to jump on it. Especially when you need a whole setup.
I know these % off is not that much, but this is probably the only website I know that does this sale that actually sell WC parts. It will probably cover shipping.
I have used Performance-PCs in the past, very good store, but customer service is lacking. I like to call a place and have them pick up the phone right away. Finally got frustrated and email. Someone answered my email within 3 hours. I think its much easier to talk on the phone than type things out.
They have some items that I don't see in many other places.
For example Corsair Case Grommets. The only place I have seen them is at the Corsair store with a crazy shipping cost. They are also available at Performance-pcs for a very reasonable shipping cost. They also have other specialty items at reasonable prices like individually sleeved cable extensions.
When you see what kind of set up they have you'll understand. They are very much a mom and pop type setup. Nice people and very easy to work with.
After finally deciding on my watercooling components, I placed a few orders on Performance-PCS.com. My understanding was that they were one of the best places to purchase watercooling components from, especially for things like EK to avoid high cost/long time shipping and other cross border charges.
I received the first order which was a GPU waterblock, and I am pretty dissapointed at the shape at which what was delivered to me. The box has seen better days, and it seems to be pretty obvious that this has been opened before and "resealed." (see pics) The components sound loose in the box (screws, etc) but I haven't yet opened it. It just seemed to not be secured within the box by the way it sounds and moves. It was packed relatively well, and the outside box didn't seem damaged, so this doesn't seem to have occurred during shipping.
Is this the normal experience? Is this something I should be concerned about? Is this a used product?
