I live in a tropical climate and I basically lived in those flowy, thin, surf-brand one pieces (think Roxy, Hurley, billabong) through my thirties. They were comfy and un-pretentious, but cute and flattering. They were affordable, and they looked good on everyone (even if they were a pain to pee in). I still have one or 2 that I break out every now and then.
Today I wore one for the first time in forever and got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS. But when I go shopping, I don’t see this style anymore? The “athleisure” brands are too thick and stretchy.. I’m looking for loose and flowy. Also, I’m really petite and the more expensive brands are always giant on me 😩
Anyone else feel me? Has anyone found any modern equivalents?

Has anyone has any luck finding jumpsuits or rompers that you don’t have to hem/alter? My legs are pretty short. So far I’ve tried Baltic Born and Cider and both had just so much extra fabric in the torso section that I couldn’t have really altered it to make it work. Thanks!!

Ann Taylor and Loft!! They have petites that fit me and I'm 4'9" with short legs. Look for the ones that are supposed to be capris or ankle length if you don't want to hem the pants. But I've found they fit pretty well in the torso for me.

I have a linen jumpsuit from The Reformation that I got on poshmark that is actually a bit short on me in my opinion. Edit: well, it definitely shows the ankle, so that's probably what feels too short since I'm not used to that.

I am similar in size to you and I have a linen jumpsuit from Everlane that I love for the summer. It’s this one and it’s cropped length is a perfect full length for me.
