I tried the older driver available here:http://www.prolific.com.tw/US/ShowProduct.aspx?p_id=223&pcid=126And this seemed to work for Windows 11. Weird that an old driver works better than the latest one.I have the PL-2303 TA chipset. Answer from ejohanson on techcommunity.microsoft.com

[HELP] PL2303 drivers for linux or alternative
According to https://stackoverflow.com/a/49106819 the PL2303 driver is already in the mainline kernel. There is a pretty good chance it is even already compiled into yours. Are you sure you don't have a `/dev/ttyACMx` or `/dev/ttyUSBx` (where x is any number) device showing up when you plug it in? More on reddit.com
