firefox block planet vpn now?
Any reputable free VPN extensions that don't nag you?
"Free VPN" extensions offered by random companies might as well be selling everyone's data to advertisers. Only use them in a separate profile and avoid logging in to your accounts while they are enabled.
If you just want to access some sites anonymously/without revealing your location, you have the option to use the Tor browser.
More on reddit.comThank you for being honest about what a VPN does.
Is this just already in the browser, or do I need to add it?
More on reddit.comMozilla VPN has a 2.2 rating on the play store. I am seriously concerned about the health of this VPN service
This seems so be the main issue:
Zero stars for letting me install and make an account before telling me it's a subscription service. Sneaky and underhanded loses my trust.

People think it’s fee
-
They spend time installing, registering, etc.
-
They find out it’s paid

They’re angry because they wasted their time

Thanks for your answers, I really need a vpn to access some site
Foreword: I don't want to use a desktop VPN because I have no need of one. I only use VPNs for browsing and I prefer extensions because they are very quick and easy to toggle. Also, I often have downloads going on in the background (not in-browser) that I don't want routed through the VPN while it's active.
I was using Browsec VPN but it's basically nagware and the pop-ups were starting to get annoying. That said, it had everything else I was looking for in a VPN. I understand that a free service is going to come attached with some limitations to entice you to upgrade, but I'm wondering if there is at least an alternative that doesn't show unsolicited pop-ups. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the US.
