If you plan to use the earpiece on Dragon through your PC, we recommend the Voyager 5200 UC version, as it is designed to ensure PC connectivity and optimal performance; hence it should work with Dragon Naturally Speaking without issues. The UC version includes a USB dongle. Pairing the headset to the included Poly BT600 USB Bluetooth adapter, rather than pairing directly to the PC/MAC via native Bluetooth, makes for a much clearer and consistent user experience. Without the Poly BT600 USB Bluetooth adapter, PC/MAC Bluetooth systems do not typically provide capability to use the call control from the headset itself. Additionally, the USB Bluetooth adapter also functions as an audio processor, which assures the best audio experience through wideband audio support—providing the highest voice quality. If connected directly to the PC/MAC via native Bluetooth, wideband audio is not possible. I have a Poly 4310 UC headset that has also ceased working or being recognized by Teams or Windows 11 System > Sound in the last week. I have now wasted hours trying to fix this to NO avail. I have been trying to use this headset - which works fine with my Android phone and other computers (including a Surface Laptop 5) via Bluetooth. In this case, I am trying to get this working on my (brand new) Dell Precision 5490 - all drivers are up to date. Initially, the headset did work intermittently, but started to only be recognized as a Bluetooth LE device :

As you can see, I can 'connect' to the headset, but it does NOT appear in any of the Windows Audio/Sound settings :

What I have discovered (hint in the above) is that if I use my BT700 USB dongle -- the headset works fine! What doesn't work is trying to use the exact same headset directly via Bluetooth.

Digging into this further, I've discovered that the BT700 USB dongle has a very recent driver :

...whereas the Poly 4310 UC driver is somewhat ancient :

I have NO idea if this ancient driver or Windows picking this up as a "LE" and not a 'named' Poly device is the issue, but I can tell you this is SUPER frustrating! As I said, this headset seems to work just fine on my phone and other devices.

Hi! I just got my hands on the Voyager 5200 UC. I've managed to pair and download the Poly Lens app, firmware updated for both the headset and USB adapter. However, I can't seem to get the correct driver installed. It keeps showing Generic USB Audio in Windows 11. Both my output and input call quality is defaulting to 1-2 channel 16 bit (tape recorder quality) which sounds bad. I'm not getting high-fidelity audio. Can anyone share the direct link to get the correct drivers for BT700, please? I have searched through HP's website and Poly's website but couldn't locate it. Thanks in advance!
