On the 5220 page, it indicates under Specifications -> Connects To, that it supports mobile devices using USB-C and PCs. It doesn't specify which operating systems are supported, but it should definitely support Windows and Mac. Whether or not it works in Linux is a bit of a mystery. Doing a quick Google search, it seems that others have had issues with drivers. I work from home and sometimes my home can get noisy so I need noise cancellation on my headset speakers as well as my microphone. I will use this for phone calls and meetings. I would prefer over the ear so it completely covers my ears to help block out sounds. I also preferred the reliability of a wired USB A or C connection so no wireless/bluetooth needed. I'm hoping to spend around $100 US but will pay more if I really need to.
After a lot of searching I can't seem to find this kind of combination so I don't know if anything like this exists. I keep getting flooded with search results of noise cancelling microphones but not the headset speakers themselves.

Hello Poly People.
I was using a wired headset (blackwire 3210 series) for VOIP phone calls successfully then suddenly, the audio of the calls now come through the laptop's crappy speaker and not the headset. All media (music, youtube...) still comes through headset. Caller hears me fine thru headset mic. How can I get the call sound back to ear piece?
I have tried different USB ports. Tried downloading all the things (Plantronics hub... poly lens desktop) to check for firmware updates. I have messed with all sound settings so many times. Any ideas? Thanks.
