Hello, all! I'm not the most fashionable, so I'm not looking for something super modern and trendy. I have an interview with a temp agency tomorrow. I have not been having much luck with job searching, so I would like to look as professional as possible to give me any leg up.
It's been a while since I've worn this suit and I've gained weight since then, so it's a little too small (I can't lift my arms with complete freedom).

I am able to button it, but I would have to be tugging on the back to keep it from lifting and that hole in the back center from opening. And it's just too darn tight for me to be comfortable in.
So, I'm wondering if it is acceptable to just leave it unbuttoned. There is only one button on the jacket.
(Don't mind the stretching at the buttons, I'm bending over for the picture. It doesn't that when I am standing straight or sitting up straight.)
I have more options, but they are less professional, and I would rather avoid resorting to them. Thank you, ladies (and/or gents) for any help!
Edit: I had enough time to go out this morning and buy a new jacket. I took luckeeyou's suggestion and went to TJmaxx and found a blazer for 30 dollars (the ONLY one left in the store) and a non button up top. The blazer is not perfect, but I can button it and move my arms and its not pinstripe! Thanks for all your advice, ladies. I'll keep it all in mind for my next professional clothes shopping trip!
From the looks of it both the shirt you're wearing and the jacket are waaayyy too tight. I know you said you're bending over (?) in the photo but you'll be sitting in an interview so probably the same effect. I would get a new jacket if you can (I'm also not feeling the pinstripe...) and would go for a white button down underneath - always your safest bet, especially if you're interviewing somewhere corporate America-ish.
If you can't, try to pick something else as professional as you can (post pics?). I don't know if it feels comfortable but if you aren't comfortable in the interview (as comfy as you can be in a suit) you probably would be better off looking more casual anyway.

As a professional woman who has boobs and hips to contend with, I feel what you are going through. The button down is not always the best option because of the dreaded boob-gap. I have industrial strength double sided tape to prevent it in my button downs. However, I don't wear button downs to interviews because they always look sloppy. I choose a nice knit or silk top that still looks very professional. I don't want to be worried about my clothes, but want to exude confidence and professionalism.
As for the suit... Yep, it's too tight. You should not feel like Chris Farley when you put your jacket on. You can find cheap but good interview suit at Ross or TJ Maxx (~$35-50). If you are really strapped for cash (been there) you can scout your local Goodwill and get same day dry cleaning. Some of the suits I get the most complements on I picked up at Goodwill.
It's always a good investment to spend a little money to show up to an interview looking like you belong there, not looking like you hope to belong there. Also, you will have workable items for your work wardrobe when you get the job!
