Podbean might be a little clunky to use but it does the job imo - I just use it to host and distribute to other platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc. Depends what you're looking for I guess. More on reddit.com

Both Podbean and Buzzsprout cover the basics (easy upload, distribute to Spotify, Apple, etc., promotion tools, ads, etc.) and each has some unique features that cater to different types of creators. So, it might be useful to describe a bit more about your podcast so we can all taylor our responses to your needs. That being said, here are a few times where I'd recommend Podbean over Buzzsprout: Video podcasting: If you're doing a video podcast, then use Podbean. Buzzsprout is all in on audio-only podcasting and doesn't support video. Live streaming: Podbean has some nice livestreaming capabilities that are unique to them. More cost effective if on yearly plan: Podbean can get as cheap as $9/month if you're on their yearly plan. A similar plan on Buzzsprout would cost $12/month (we don't do yearly plans). Multilingual support: Obviously this doesn't apply since you asked your question in English, but Podbean has the best multilingual support in the podcast hosting ecosystem. I regularly recommend non-english speakers to Podbean or Spreaker so the UI is in their native language. They make it easy to add your own sponsors or to connect with Podcorn to find advertisers for your show. And they never insert their own ads into your show., but they have an affiliate marketplace and an ad program if you want to sign up for it, and they make it easy to manage and insert your own sponsorships. They have a free model but their lowest paid tier is only $12/mo which is really just 1 fast food meal. They also produce a lot of youtube videos for tips and tricks and helpful advice.
