What are the Poly Blackwire 5220 technical specifications
What connectivity options does the Blackwire 5220 offer?
Does it provide hearing protection?
I have a couple Plantronics Blackwire 5220 headsets, I bought them because the mic reportedly has noise cancelling, but I am trying to understand how it works and whether I need to use the USB dongle.
I've read the way the noise cancelling works is that the boom has two mics, one captures noise ambient and it's substracted from the main one. Do you know if this logic is in the headset or in the dongle? I don't notice much of a difference using the dongle or not, and the headset jack is a TRRS type, which I'm not sure can provide signal for two mics together with the stereo signal. On the other hand, I am not sure how this logic could exist in the headset--I guess in analog, passive form? The headset doesn't seem easy to open without breaking, so I wonder if someone knows more about this.
