What is the best American Candy to try as someone who has never had any?
Top ten most popular candy’s in sold in America. Happy to see Candy corn on this list. 🤷😁
Americans: give me your best candy recommendations!
What candy is most associated with America?
A shop near me has started selling a large array of US candy. I'm overwhelmed. What do you recommend as a must try! (if they don't stock it I'll find it elsewhere!)
Edit: Wow! Thank you all for the response! I'll be going through comments and making a shopping list and possible an excel chart! I should have specified I'm in Ireland so we have skittles, kitkat (but maybe a different type...?), twix and Reeses (however I've never tried them and will be rectifying that immediately) widely available. The former 3 being top tier so excellent recommendedations.
Hey r/candy,
I live in the Netherlands, and despite a lifelong enthousiasm for all things sweet (and sour), my experience of american candy has been mostly confined to TV and the internet.
However! A friend of mine just left for a business trip to LA yesterday, and she agreed to save me some space in her luggage for candy and sweets.
And so I bow before you and request of you: as representatives of the US of A, give me your finest recommendations!
Maybe it's a stone cold classic that everyone needs to have tried, or it might be an often overlooked delicacy that you'd like to recommend?
Whatever the case, I'd love to hear some ideas! I have already tried: twinkies and poptarts.
