To me Power Beats Pros are still way behind than the AirPods Pros
ANC is not as good as AirPods Pros 👎🏾
Wireless Charging without the Magsafe 👎🏾 and doesn't charge with Apple Watch Charger.
Automatic Switching between Apple Devices not there, a feature all Apple users live 👎🏾
No conversation awareness like AirPods Pros 👎🏾
Still Heavier than AirPods Pros 👎🏾
No iPV6 👎🏾
Heart rate to me is a gimmick and eats battery life. 👎🏾
Don't expect an upgrade after five years to be so underwhelming. I'm disappointed.
I’ve just purchased the new AirPods Pro 3, and own the original Powerbeats Pro. I use both for the gym, but primarily the AirPods due to noise cancellation.
I’m wondering if I should’ve purchased the new Powerbeats instead. I love the bass-heavy sound of the AirPods, and was wondering how the new Powerbeats compare?

Hello everyone, like the Title says, I need advice regarding which one I should buy, I have had my Studio Buds for about 2 years now and they have been fantastic! But they are showing their age now and they disconnect when I answer calls so I was thinking about getting either the Powerbeats Pro 2 or Airpods Pro 2
I hope you are well and safe. Apologies for my English
So I owned AirPods Pro 2, but I lost them. Got another pair, but Amazon lost the parcel.
I work out a lot. Almost every day. AirPods Pro 2 were fine but often fell off my ears.
I am thinking, shall I buy AirPods Pro 2 for the third time or give a chance PowerBeats Pro
I know PoweBeats Pro do not have ANC but they are perfect for the gym and running.
I also own AirPods Max(they have ANC etc), and I did a few workouts with them, but I have heard I should not use them for working out
What would you do if you were me?
I wanted to put together a detailed feature comparison of Powerbeats Pro 2 vs Beats Fit Pro vs AirPods 4 (ANC) vs AirPods Pro 2. I've regularly used all of these modes except AirPods 4 (ANC).
I don't want to say too much about sound quality and ANC of Powerbeats Pro 2 just yet because I'm still getting used to how they fit. I remember hating the Beats Fit Pro for about a month until I got used to them, and I now love them. I will say that Powerbeats Pro 2 sounds good and has good ANC with a good seal, but the sound quality is just a bit muddier and the mids/highs are a bit harsher/sharper than I'd prefer. AirPods Pro 2 has noticeably better sound quality and ANC than either the Beats Fit Pro or Powerbeats Pro 2.
Beats Fit Pro, Powerbeats Pro 2, AirPods 4 (ANC), and AirPods Pro 2 all support the following features:
Noise Control: ANC + Transparency
Personalized Spatial Audio with Dynamic Head Tracking + Spatialize Stereo
One Touch Pairing
Automatic Switching between Apple devices
Ear Tip Fit Test
Headphone Accommodations
Automatic Ear Detection for auto play/pause
Hands free "Hey Siri"
Announce Notifications
Exclusive to AirPods Pro 2, Powerbeats Pro 2, and AirPods 4 (ANC):
Low latency lossless audio with Apple Vision Pro
Hands free "Siri"
"Case sounds" - While the Powerbeats Pro 2 case doesn't have a speaker, it will play certain "case sounds" through the earbuds. Interestingly enough, these sounds appear to be the same as the ones developed for Beats Solo Buds, not the ones AirPods use
Qi wireless charging
Exclusive to AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 (ANC):
Adaptive Audio
Personalized Volume
Conversation Awareness
Head Gestures to respond to notifications
Apple Watch Charging
Activation Lock/Lost Mode
Speaker on case for Find My
AirPods Pro 2 Exclusive Features:
Hearing Protection
Hearing Test/Hearing Aid functionality
MagSafe charging
Precision Find My
Powerbeats Pro 2 Exclusive Features:
Heart rate Monitoring
Best battery life (8 hours with ANC on, 36 hours total with case)
Physical volume buttons
Conclusion:
Beats Fit Pro, Powerbeats Pro 2, AirPods 4 (ANC), and AirPods Pro 2 all provide a good experience for Apple users, IF the comfort/fit works for you. I'm confident that the vast majority of Apple users will be able to find at least one of these models where the fit/comfort works for you and you are reasonably satisfied with the sound quality, noise control, and overall feature set. AirPods Pro 2 definitively provides the best sound quality, noise control, and overall feature set for Apple users, IF the comfort and fit works for you.
I'm disappointed the Powerbeats Pro 2 currently lacks a bunch of features that even AirPods 4 (ANC) has, but I'm cautiously optimistic these features (Adaptive Audio, Personalized Volume, Conversation Awareness, Head Gestures) will be added eventually in a future firmware update. If Apple can add these features and slightly tweak the sound signature to make the mids/highs a little less harsh/sharp, the Powerbeats Pro 2 will be basically everything I hoped they could be.
I'm still desperately hoping we get Beats Fit Pro 2 with the H2 chip this fall, as I currently prefer the wingtip design over the ear hook design. Perhaps Beats Fit Pro 2 could launch day 1 with support for Adaptive Audio, Personalized Volume, Conversation Awareness, and Head Gestures, at which point Powerbeats Pro 2 would receive a firmware update that adds these features. This is the best case scenario that I think is realistic.
My use case will be office calls and gym largely. I have used airpods 1 and airpods pro 2 before and while it was quite a good product, the buds died within 1 to 1.5 years of use both the times. Even the applecare replaced bud died within 6 months. Also they fell out of my ears quite a bit while moving/exercising.
Hey all. I am currently debating between the Powerbeats Pro 2 vs the Apple Airpods pro 2. I would appreciate any input you guys have to offer.
I don't have a very big history of wireless earbuds. I've had an old pair of og JBL wireless for as long as I can remember and after years of wear, hours of listening, getting crushed twice and super glued back together, buttons fried, and getting submerged in water multiple times... They've finally just about crapped themselves. They were a good and loyal pair but, alas, it is time to put them to rest....
Everything else I've ever had (pill, headphones, wired, etc) has been beats and I'm really loyal to the brand. They've never really let me down, good quality, etc. I few months ago someone gave me a Beats Fit Pro pair that they had, and as happy as I was, I ended up giving them to someone else. They did NOT work for my ears. After 10-15 minutes of wear, they kept causing sharp pain on the cartilage of my ear, bruising and tenderness, along with headaches. I guess it was just my ears.
Now I'm in the hunt, and I've come down between these two pair: Powerbeats Pro 2 and Airpods Pro 2. I'm fine with the price range but $200 is about my max. I just want something long lasting and fits my needs. I'm definitely looking for something that's gonna stay firm in my ear when working, running, etc. Definitely durability, conformity, long lasting battery, and good audio. I plan on wearing these things for 3-5 hours a day for years so they got a hold up.
So yeah. With those criteria, these are the two I'm debating against. I know Powerbeats has some mixed reviews but they are enticing. Airpods seem nice and they have cooler features, but I got an Android phone and not an Apple... I know that makes a difference. Just let me know your thoughts.
TL;DR: Debating between getting Powerbeats Pro 2 vs Apple Airpods Pro 2, but I've got an Android phone and all my devices are Samsung. Looking for something that's gonna stay in my ears, durable, long battery life, and comfortable with great audio AND BASS.
Lemme know
Hey everyone,
I’m in the market for a new pair of earbuds and I’ve narrowed it down to three options: • AirPods Pro 2 ($250) • Powerbeats Pro 2 ($200) • Denon Perl Pro ($150)
I originally set my budget around $200 because I just want the best possible option in that range. I work as a server, so I’m mostly using these during side work to listen to metal and audiobooks.
Right now, I’m really considering the Denon Perl Pros since I’ve seen a lot of praise for their sound quality. But at the same time, I know the AirPods Pro 2 and Powerbeats Pro 2 have big perks when it comes to comfort, iPhone integration, and overall quality-of-life features.
My main question is: 👉 Is the sound quality of the Denons good enough to make up for the lack of Apple’s ecosystem perks and comfort, or would I be better off going with one of the other two?
Sound quality is my #1 priority, but I’m open to other suggestions too if there’s something better around this price point.
Thanks in advance!
I recently sold my AirPods Pro 2 because they kept falling out of my ears, considering this fact I was interested in the new Beats Powerbeats Pro 2. They fit pretty well and I can finally work out in my earbuds but I noticed they don’t have nearly as many features as the AirPods Pro 2 (for example: Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Hearing Protection, Accurate Case Tracking, Optimized Charging etc.) which to me, is weird since those features can only be used on a H2 chip device, so why do AirPods and Powerbeats Pro share the same new chip but Powerbeats don’t have all of these features?
the two main thing I want to is sound quality and noise cancellation. I tried the airpods pro 2 and the noise cancellation is amazing. I was wondering if the beats fit pro comes close to the noise cancellation of app2
Going to put my order in right now
I currently have quite the lineup of headphones and am looking for a new pair for exercising and general use. I own the AirPods 2nd generation, AirPods Pro 1st generation and 2nd generation.
When I upgraded from my AirPods Pro 1 to 2, I noticed a big difference in the ANC. I'm looking for some beats that will sounds as good as the Pro 2nd generation and have on-par ANC and transparency.
I'm in-between the Beats Fit Pro and the Powerbeats Pro. I like the look of the Beats Fit Pro (and smaller design), but I appreciate the volume rocker on the Powerbeats Pro (I always use the volume slider on my AirPods Pro 2nd Gens). I'd prefer the volume rocker over the smaller design but the factors such as the Powerbeats Pro having battery/charging issues come into play which make me consider the Beats Fit Pro to be a better decision. My question is: From the two, which sound closest to, have on-par transparency and ANC, and are as reliable as the AirPods Pro 2? Essentially, I want to purchase the AirPods Pro 2 for its sound and sound feature offerings, but tailored for exercising as they feel slippery after a little bit of sweat occurs. Otherwise, they fit perfectly for me.
Does anyone here own these? I’m thinking of getting some soon for work. Just wondered if they are better the the AirPods Pro 2? I liked the AirPods Pro 2 sound when I’m not moving or sweating. I had the PowerBeats 1 and loved them years ago. Better battery life and they stayed in my ears.
got the powerbeats in late 2019 worked great until the summer of 2022 the right one would shutdown at 55% 20 mins later even though I will charge them at 100%. The replacement just seems to expensive and now the left one is starting to do the same.
So are the airpods pro any better? They are on sale in Canada 100 bucks off which seems like a good deal.
Local store near me is having a sale on the PowerBeats Pro 2, they're $119 in store only. I've been wanting the HR monitor ability.
I can get either one but is the AirPods Pro 3 worth $130 more than the PowerBeats Pro 2 currently?
Pretty active. Typically on my bike, walking, or running daily.
Input would be appreciated. I am not an audiophile, just like having the music playing as a distraction with some ANC.
