Love the module. So i configured my I interpreter to always load it at the beginning. Here is how. In your ~/.bashrc file add the following PYTHONSTARTUP=~/.pythonrc.py export PYTHONSTARTUP That makes ~/.pythonrc.py be loaded with the interpreter. So inside ~/.python.rc we add the line from pprint import pprint as pp And now whenever we start the interpreter we have instant access to pprint without always having to import it.
