I am shopping around for Auto Insurances for a new car, this is the first time I am buying a car and an Insurance. I reached out insurance agents in my area, and they sent me over a quote of 1.4K for a year for Preferred Mutual. I am kinda surprised as all the other places I am looking at are easily quoting me a price of 1 to 1.2 K for 6 months (Progressive seems to be the cheapest among them). So I wanted to understand and know how good is Progressive Mutual and what have others experience been with them. I live in MA if that helps the case, and most of the coverage is pretty similar with other policies. The other quotes that I got are mostly online quotes so I am thinking if it has to something with talking to an Agent or usually Preferred Mutual is cheap. I don't see a lot of online reviews about them in general (on reddit as well ? ).
Hello All. We are leaving liberty mutual and are shopping around. One of the brokers we have been working with is recommending Preferred Mutual insurance for auto, home and umbrella. I know they are a smaller regional New York but I can not find any detailed reviews. Any thoughts?
He also mentioned NYCM but said it would cost a little more.
Thanks for any feedback. Much Appreciated!
