I was watching a British youtuber a while ago, though I don't remember what channel, and I heard them pronounce word Premise as "pre-MAIZ" instead of "pre-MISS" is that common in british english or just a weird peach quirk they have?

The typical British version is prem-iss, which is neither of the options above(?) Dictionaries record pre-maiz, but I've never heard it said in the south.

The noun and the verb have different pronunciations. ˈprem.ɪs is the noun pronunciation. prɪˈmaɪz is the verb pronunciation. I think the verb meaning isn’t used very often. There are quite a few words in English where the stress placed on which syllable changes depending on whether it is a noun or a verb. For example present, project, proceed are all pronounced differently depending on if you mean the noun meaning or the verb meaning.

premise - Wiktionary, the free dictionary
From Middle English premise, premisse, from Old French premisse, from Medieval Latin premissa (“set before”) (premissa propositio (“the proposition set before”)), feminine past participle of Latin praemittere (“to send or put before”), from prae- (“before”) + mittere (“to send”). Sense 4, a piece of real estate arose from the misinterpretation of the word by property owners while reading title deeds where the word was used with the legal sense.
