I need helping finding the best prepaid debit card for a family member that has some challenges. He currently does not have a valid ID and isn’t interested in getting one for various reasons. I offered to make him an AU on one of my credit cards but he isn’t interested. He would like a card that he can use online and for larger expenses.
I am fine with getting something in my name for him and he would give me the cash. He wants to start with $1,500 that I can fund either with cash or my bank accounts or credit cards. My problem is there are so many options when I search online.
He doesn’t care about paying nominal monthly fees and he would probably want to reload every few months but that would left to me, so I would like something I can just do online. He wouldn’t be using the card to get cash ever.
Does anyone have suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Title. So, this user has never done this before and is curious how to do this, it's semi-urgent. How does one buy, activate, fill, and use a prepaid card, that one can find at grocery stores like Weis, etc., as quickly and -- more importantly -- as ANONYMOUSLY as possible? Also, are there any that go above $500, such as to 1K? Can only find $500 max limit ones at the store. Thx!
EDIT: So, some on YTube are saying that reloadable ones are subject to the Evil "Patriot Act" and require SSN; this user saw some requests for SSN/info for activating cards on video tutorials online, such as for Netspend cards; the question is: HOW DOES ONE fill, say, $800-$999 on a prepaid card with NO IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION NEEDED?!?!?!?!? For example, for putting in "bug-out" bags/luggage for apocalyptic scenarios full of money alongside various fiat bills and gold bars.

I'm trying to make a purchase on a US-based website that uses Stripe checkout. Unfortunately, the Visa gift card I got at Target does not support 3D authentication and keeps getting declined.
Any advice? Ideally looking for a pre-paid debit card I can pick up in person at a store without needing an ID.

3D secure authentication looks expensive to implement, I don’t even think all banks have it.
The main point of that authentication is to verify that the person who entered the card number is the owner of the card’s account. So it verifies the person who signed up for the card is the person using the card.
But a prepaid card’s selling point is someone buys it and someone else uses it, so 3D secure authentication is pointless for prepaid debit cards.
If you’re a minor, borrow your parent’s card, or a friend’s. And don’t be naughty.

My Bank in the Netherlands doesnt allow google pay and i need it, so i wanted a prepaid card. But every option i find has to have ,ID which i dont want to give. Is there any option to do without? It would be nice if i can top it up with a dutch bank btw

In the wake of the data breaches that occured in 2022, I'm looking for single-use virtual debit cards to use for online shopping that doesn't have/accept Paypal/Afterpay etc.
I've looked at both Wise and Revolut, however they both want either a Driver's license or Passport to be uploaded. Of which I'm not comfortable just handing that out to random companies. Sadly privacy.com still doesn't offer servivce to Australia, and CommBank only offers virtual cards to business clients.

I am in need of a prepaid card without a bank account. I had applied for a prepaid Visa Serve card and was denied, and I’m not sure why. I do not know if this card REQUIRES a bank account, and how they’d would know this with just my social security number. I do not know why I was denied. Anyways I was wondering if there are any prepaid cards that would allow me to apply without any bank account. I have a valid ID and valid social security card and am a citizen of WV. I was hoping for advice on how to go about it, what card to get, and possibly know why I was denied with just my email, name, and social security number. Much help would be appreciated. Thanks!
