Story of 7~ Story Buildings Scattered Throughout Pac/Presidio Heights?
What’s the catch? This seems cheap for SF and the presidio/laurel heights area. Posted this before but apparently I accidentally linked a Sacramento apartment..
Zero modern amenities, appliances are 40+ years old, still an icebox in the kitchen, bathroom looks like it has not been updated since the building was constructed, unreinforced masonry building, hospital around the corner, intersection of several busyish streets, couple of social services organizations nearby.

It's striking how we were willing and able to build these. What was the time period that these buildings were built And why did it come to an end?
To me they are a monument to better days (in terms of home building) and an indictment of our current housing market dysfunction. I'll know SF has figured things out when more of these start popping up again throughout the city's midsection.
