YSK check price history before buying anything on Amazon, Aliexpress, or any other store, and don't fall for fake discounts.
Price much higher than normal before Prime Day
Sometimes a deal looks great at first glance, but then I notice the same item being sold for much less somewhere else. I am trying to build a better habit of comparing prices so I do not waste money on impulse purchases.
Lately, I have been checking price history, comparing different shops manually, and using a couple of tools. One of the things I tried recently is a tool called Redcart, which shows factory-level pricing for some items. It helped me realize how big the price gaps can sometimes be, but I still cross-check reviews and store apps because the cheapest option is not always the best.
How do you all verify if a price is truly fair? Do you rely on price history, comparison tools, store apps, or something else?
Why YSK: Many people want to find a great deal during sales, and many sellers take advantage of this. They raise the price a few days before the sale and then lower it just to show a large discount.
Always check price history charts to see what prices were like in the past and make sure the discount is real. This will help you avoid impulse purchases, shop at the lowest prices, and find real deals.
Camelcamelcamel, Keepa, Pricearchive are popular one's for Amazon and Aliexpress.

It would be great if you could list good price trackers you use for Walmart, eBay, and other stores. This will be especially helpful during ongoing and upcoming sales.
Wow, I just bought this for $21.95 a few days ago after being on my list for a few weeks (haven’t bought it in awhile, seemed high). Now the ‘suggested retail’ is $3 lower than what I actually paid and the ‘sale’ price is $4 less than the suggested retail. So yeah, not going to be a repeat customer of your shop.
